Site Updates
I've just finished some fix-up for the site. The " Feature
Links" section has been updated, I've deleted some dead links and
added a few new ones. Also, I'm working on a new section called " Schattenjäger
Library", which will have a extended list of characters, places and
phrased that appeared in the GK games. This was originally featured on the
Schattenjagers.com before the site was taken
down, and I think by bring it back to live will be very good for reference
purposes. Helps are very much welcome as the list is quite long.

Jane Responed!!!
A follow-up message was posted by Jane Jensen on the
GK official forum, and it reads:
"Thanks
for your many letters today. Yes, I am back in the gaming world, though I
have no real news as of yet.
I appreciate all of your thoughts and find it especially important to try
to sort out ages and genders and where people are from in determining what
was successful about GK with what audience.
Thanks again for your many replies to my post today.
Jane"
Great news indeed, but many questions are still unanswered.
Is Jane's next game going to be a Gabriel Knight game? Is she working with
Sierra again or with some other company? How much will Jane be involved in
this new project? We will sure keep you updated when more news come in.

Jane Has Spoken!!!
Jane Jensen, the creator of Gabriel Knight, has posted
a message on the official GK forum asking feedbacks from the fans.
This could be the most exciting news that came along in the recent years.
The message reads:
Dear GK forum:
I have a request to make. For those who have a few minutes to burn, could
you send me an email explaining why you would like a GK sequel? If you
could also say whether you would prefer 2D, 3D or live actors, that would
be great. Age and gender, too, would be helpful.
I'm currently in New York, so send it to: [email protected]
Thanks so much you guys! :-)
Jane Jensen Holmes
Could this means a new GK game is on the horizon? I will not
specula at this point, but what we should do right now is to answer the
call, and send an e-mail to Jane to show our love for the GK games. You
can read the entire post
here.

The Rebirth??!!
Recently, there have been some rumors going around
suggesting that Sierra is in the process of bringing back some of it's
beloved adventure game series. Naturally, Gabriel Knight is amount the top
candidates. Although neither Sierra nor Jane Jensen has confirmed this,
there are some reliable sources that seems to be backing this speculation.
One is an article in the April issue of the PC Gamer Magazine
titled "Back to Basics for Sierra". In this interview, the
president of Sierra, Mike Ryder, states that they are in discussion of
reviving some of Sierra's classic adventure games such as King's
Quest, Space's Quest, Leisure Suit Larry
and, yes, you guest it, Gabriel Knight!!!
You can read the scan of this article right
here.
These are indeed very good news, we can only hope that they will bring
some positive effects upon the release of GK4. Have your fingers crossed
people!!

Thanks for all the support guys!!!
I am totally overwhelm by the emails I've received
from the past few weeks ever since I've reopened GKT. It really
surprises me that after so many years, people still enjoy playing GK games
and adventure games in general. It gives me more reasons to believe that
adventure games are indeed not dead. Many of your sent me great comments
and kind words, and I would like to thank all of you here.
Now for the
update of the site, most parts of the sites have been completed and should
be up and running now. If you have spot any missing or dead links, please
report to: [email protected].
Again, thank you for all the supports and helps!!!

We Are Back!!!
After over 2 years of absent, I have decided to redo
the whole site. I hope you like the new layout. Many parts of the web site
are still under heavy construction, and since I do not have a lot of free
time on my hands right now, this is going to take a while. I am open for
comments, please feel free to tell me what you think of this site and
things I can do to improve it more. Thank you and enjoy your stay!
